The Russians on the frontline are astonished: "What are we going to do with these f... Chinese?"
Russian soldiers have been overheard expressing concern about how North Korean troops will be commanded and provided with ammunition and military equipment.
Leaked information obtained by Ukraine’s defense intelligence service were released on Friday.
In them, Russian soldiers speak disdainfully of the arrival of North Korean soldiers, codenamed “Battalion K,” at one point calling them “f—ing Chinese.”
In the same leaked information, one of the soldiers describes another North Korean soldier:
“He’s standing there, his eyes bulging, he’s come here and he’s asking what he should do.”
The recorded information also reveals plans to have one interpreter and three senior officers for every 30 North Korean troops, something the Russian soldiers condemn in the recording.
"The only thing I don't understand is that there are three senior officers for 30 people. Where are we going to get them?" a Russian soldier says.
"I tell you, there are 77 battalion commanders arriving tomorrow, there are commanders, deputy commanders and so on," a serviceman says in another clip.
According to Ukrainian defense intelligence, the recording was intercepted on encrypted Russian transmission channels on the night of October 23.
