Russian commander returns home and gets killed
A commander of Russia's military intelligence service was shot dead Wednesday while driving his car home. A gunman fired three shots from a car at 44-year-old Nikita Klenkov while he was driving. The perpetrator is still fugitive.
The Russian commander had only been home from the Ukrainian front for a week. The murder took place Wednesday morning in the village of Melenki, near Moscow. A murder investigation was opened.
