Kremlin intimidates and warns Washington
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that Washington is well aware of Moscow's “red lines.”
Lavrov was commenting on discussions about Ukraine's use of long-range weapons against Russian targets: “They (the US) should understand that there is no need to joke about our red lines. They know very well where they are,” Mr. Lavrov said, quoted by the agency TASS.
Ukraine argues to its allies that the use of Western long-range precision-guided missiles against Russian air bases and other targets would allow it to neutralize a large number of Russian airstrikes at the source.
In turn, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denounced the increasing involvement of the United States in the conflict in Ukraine.
