Kim Jong Un sees red with Donald Trump
During his presidential campaign, Donald Trump claimed that Kim Jong Un missed him, but the North Korean leader doesn’t exactly share that sentiment.
This week, the Asian leader addressed the strained diplomatic relations with Washington, expressing doubt that the billionaire’s potential return to the White House next January would drastically change the situation.
Kim Jong Un argued that the United States maintains an “unchanged hostile and aggressive policy” and accused Washington of sowing chaos on the Korean Peninsula.
“We have already explored every possible avenue in negotiating with the U.S.,” Kim Jong Un said, according to state media.
Since the start of this year, the North Korean leader has stated that he is reluctant to establish any contact with the United States.
Following Donald Trump’s comments about the North Korean leader back in July, a state news agency said: “No matter what administration takes office in the US, the political climate, which is confused by the infighting of the two parties, does not change and, accordingly, we do not care about this.”
